Mark Jossart, CPM® Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from the Minnesota Multi Housing Association

Kleinman is proud to announce that Mark Jossart, CPM®, has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA).

This prestigious award recognizes individuals whose careers have made a lasting impact on Minnesota's multifamily housing industry through exceptional leadership, service, advocacy, and professional excellence.

For nearly four decades, Mark has been a respected leader within the property management profession. As Chief Executive Officer and former Principal of Kleinman Realty Co., Mark helped guide the growth of the company from a regional management firm into one of Minnesota's most respected apartment management organizations. During his tenure, he oversaw the administration, management, and service divisions of a portfolio exceeding5,500 apartment homes across more than 150 locations. Today, Kleinman Property Management manages more than 6,000 apartment homes throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Mark's commitment to the industry extends far beyond his work at Kleinman.

An active member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) since 1990, Mark earned his Certified Property Manager® (CPM) designation in 1992. He served as President of Minnesota Chapter45 in 1999 and was recognized with both the CPM of the Year Award in 2000 and the Spirit of IREM Award in 2011 for his outstanding contributions to the profession.

Mark has also been deeply involved with the Minnesota Multi Housing Association throughout his career. A member since 1987, he served as Chairman of the Board in 2010 and has dedicated countless hours to advancing the interests of rental housing providers across the state. In recognition of his continued involvement and leadership, he received MHA's Outstanding "Ex" Award in 2012. He remains active today as a member of MHA's Legal Advisory Committee.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark has been a mentor, advocate, and trusted resource for countless housing professionals. His thoughtful leadership, industry expertise, and unwavering commitment to ethical property management have helped shape the multifamily housing landscape in Minnesota for generations.

A licensed real estate broker and graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Mark's career has been defined by service, innovation, and a passion for helping others succeed.

As he enjoys a well-earned retirement and looks forward to spending more time with family and friends, this Lifetime Achievement Award serves as a fitting recognition of a career dedicated to strengthening  Minnesota's multifamily housing industry.
