Mark Jossart

Mark A. Jossart, CPM® is Chief Executive Officer and former Principal of Kleinman Realty Co., a Minneapolis based Accredited Management Organization® specializing in acquisition, rehabilitation, and fee-based management of apartment properties.

Mark has been involved in the property management business as a manager with Kleinman Realty Co. since 1987 and as an apartment property owner since 1993. He oversaw the administration, management, and services divisions of the company's portfolio of approximately 5,500 apartments in more than 150 locations. The company is now Kleinman Property Management and manages in excess of 6,000 apartments.

Mark has been an active member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) since 1990 and earned his Certified Property Manager® (CPM) designation in 1992. He served as President of Minnesota Chapter 45 in 1999 and is the recipient of the 2000 CPM of the Year Award and 2011 Spirit of IREM Award.

In addition to his involvement with IREM, Mark has been a member of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA) since 1987 and served as the 2010 Chairman of the Board. In 2012, he received the MHA Outstanding “Ex” award for his continued involvement in MHA. Mark earned the association's Certified Apartment Manager designation in 1989 and is a Krugerrand member of the Prospectors Club. He has served on numerous committees in past years and continues to serve on MHA’s Legal Advisory Committee.

Mark is a licensed real estate broker and a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Being mostly retired now, he is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends, and enjoying the many outdoor activities that were limited by a busy real estate management career.
